Abstract:

To assess effect of cat position on labor outcome. Design: Quasi- experimental study design was used. Setting: The labor unit at Benha University hospital. Sampling: A purposive sample included size of 96 women divided into 50 women as study group & 46 women as control Tools: 1-Structured interview schedule to assess demographic characteristics.2-Visual analogue scale to assess the severity of pain 3-The partograph to assess maternal & fetal condition andfollow the progress of labor 4- Apgar score to assess the newborn condition 5- likert scale to assess the women satisfaction with the intervention.
