Abstract:

At the present time, Egypt needs new innovative solutions to change the social reality and political situation. This will not happen by solutions of conventional economy, but by solutions which create new reality and new economy. The most important of these solutions are the transformation and restructuring the economy to an economy based on sustainable development. Green economy is most suitable for countries with limited natural resources, such as Egypt. Country should adopt green politics which is based on: ecological wisdom, democracy, social justice, and nonviolence. Some other measures would be taken to green the market. The roles of government, financial institutions, public and private sectors and institutions of civil society are very important for transforming Egyptian economy into green economy.
