Abstract:

The role of building codes - as a tool of achieving an environmental quality - has become a main theme nowadays. This could be seen as a result of decreasing role of people similar choices, and increasing role of professionals and consultant firms. The research aims to identify the procedure which could be followed in order to control the architectural form in relation to cultural identity. This will include three main items: Visual Elements Matrix, Design Drawings Review and Field Supervision. To achieve the previous goals, the research methodology divided to two main parts: Theoretical part which aims to define the elements of this procedure and their mutual relationship. Case study which has been selected to testify the credibility of discussed notions.
