Abstract:

The inhibition effect of some synthetic aromatic nitro compounds on the corrosion of carbon steel in 1 M HCl solution was studied using galvanostatic and potentiodynamic anodic polarization measurements. The percentage inhibition efficiency was found to increase with increasing the concentration of inhibitors and decreasing of temperature.
