Abstract: This study aim was to change the knowledge, attitude and practice of type 2 diabetics who are on treatment with insulin at home towards household waste management by adequate health education. An interventional study was carried out on patients suffered from type 2 diabetes mellitus who visited the diabetes clinic at Benha University Hospital from April 2014 to March 2016. 500 study subjects were selected through a systematic sampling procedure.
