Abstract:

The study is putting a light on the effect of the mother's work on the children's stereotyping in the pre-school, and its effect on their emotional adjustment so as to raise our children according to our oriental society's culture. The study contains a sample of (80) children from (54) months to (81) months and their mothers in village and town other working or not working, the study contains two scales of sexual typing (A) for parents, (B) for children, each contains 20 items, also there is a play scale for children. The results revealed that there are statistical difference between the means of the scores of children of working and not working mothers for the sake of the not working mothers in village and for the sake of the male, and that there is no effect of the interaction of mother's work x the environment x the child's sex on the scores of the sexual typing scale among the eight groups of the study.
