Course Description:
The course aims at introducing the This class presents an introduction to methods of scientific research applicable to students major in crop science. It also focuses on steps of handling research problems on scientific bases starting from identifying a research problem till inferring valid conclusions based on proper data and correct results. One main objective is the issue of scientific ethics, and how researchers should frame their scientific careers with the set of roles which protect them from committing form(s) of scientific misconduct. In addition, the class signifies the issue of time management as well as other important criteria that bring about a successful researcher. Basics of discourse critique are also introduced to allow students to critically analyze both oral presentations and published texts properly
