Course Description:
The course aims at introducing The student will be able to: • Describe the physiological and morphological processes of seed development as modified by theenvironment from anthesis to maturity. • Apply introductory principles of biochemistry and physiology to the processes controlling seedviability. • List those seed harvesting and conditioning factors that contribute to seed deterioration and vigor. • Diagram the handling of seeds from the producer to the consumer including testing, and regulatory • Identify and use seed conditioning equipment.
