Genetic modification in Agriculture – transgenic plants, genetically modified foods, application, future applications, ecological impact of transgenic plants. Genetically modified foods – organic foods, types of organic foods, identifying organic foods, organic food & preservatives. Genetic modification in Food industry –background, history, controversies over risks, application, future applications. Genetic modification in Medicine - gene therapy, types of gene therapy, vectors in gene therapy, molecular engineering, human genetic engineering, problems & ethics.
