The course aims at introducing how locations are determined on the earth's surface using a network of satellites The course contains : The components of a GPS system, the signals used in the system, the basics of measuring areas and synchronizing the satellite and the receiver, determining the location of the receiver based on the determination of the location of the satellite in the space, sources of errors and how to rectify errors
