Course Description:
The course aims at introducing the - Armenia since the Islamic conquests in the seventh century and until the eleventh century - Armenian communities and their role in the light of Islamic rule, especially in the city of Jerusalem and the arabic island - First Crusade and Armenians Crusaders takeover of Edessa in 1098 and the placement of Armenians - Armenian attitude towards crusade events in Sham and Iraq parties - Armenians conditions under Crusader rule in Sham and the Arabic island - The end of the Crusades and the conditions of Armenia during the reign of the Mamluks in Sham.
