Course Description:
The course aims at introducing the 1- The appearance of the Holy Roman Empire in the eleventh century and the culmination of the great Ato as emperor in 963 AD 2- Annexation of large parts of Italy to the Empire and the placement of the church 3- The development of regime in Germany and Italy to bring the past era of empires 4- Conflict between Emperor Henry IV and Pope Gregory VII and its causes 5- Canossa incident and the achievement of the Pope`s objectives in this episode of the different episodes of conflict between the two sides 6- Renewing conflict between the Empire and the Papacy in the new episode and the triumph of the empire at this time 7- Conflict between Emperor Henry V and Papacy 8- Last episode of the conflict between the two sides, which lasted for a quarter of a century during the reign of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa
