Course Description:
The course aims at introducing the students to the main outlines of the Egyptian society development in the modern and contemporary age, linking the past with the present. It also gives information about the beginnings of the Egyptian political parties in the first half of the twentieth century and their role in parliamentary life. It also sheds light upon the development of the Egyptian political life from its most different aspects during the nineteenth and twentieth century.
