Course Description:
The course aims at introducing students to the classifications of various disabilities such as audio, visual and mental, the causes and theories, and ways of rehabilitation and treatment. This course includes a study of the techniques used to detect, identify, and classify the types of disabilities, methods used to diagnose and measure disability, and features of growth in persons with disabilities. It also investigates the importance of psychological counseling for persons with disabilities and their families, and their special education programs, and practical studies in the field of disabilities.
