Course Description:
Course Aims: The course aims at introducing the primary sources of the Mongolian history, and also the Mongolian history starting from their origination in Mongolia mountain till Genghis Khan. It also studies the Mogolian expansion in Middle Asia, their ocuupation of Baghdad (656 A.H – 1258 A.D) and the overthrow of the Caliphate, their conflict with Mamluks which results in their defeat in Ain Jalut (658 A.H- 1260 A.D), and also the foreign relations between them and the great neghbours either the Islamic or the Christian countries.
