Course Description:
The course aims at introducing students to Industrial Psychology, its origins, evolution and contributions of the scientists. Industrial psychology is based on selection processes and occupational rehabilitation; it explores mental and motor capabilities required for different careers. This course includes a study of the scientific basis for selection processes, guidance and occupational rehabilitation. Moreover, this course is designed to train students to use interview in order to analyze many affecting factors such as work environment, individual, the psychological compatibility, the relationship between psychosomatic disorders and occupational compatibility, absent worker psychology, accidents psychology, physical and social environments, and management psychology, and the foundations of job evaluation.
