Course Description:
The course is designed to help students understand the implications of individuals and communities exposure to crises and disasters, and how to response to them and their classifications, and the role of both the media in dealing with it, and the role of international institutions and organizations in the face of crises. This course includes a study of the concept of crisis management, and classification of biological and chemical injuries resulting from crises and disasters, and the classification of mental associations, and psychometric shocks, and a practical study of psychological and social effects resulting from crises and disasters.
