Course Description:
The course aims at investigating the relationship between environmental psychology and other psychological branches. This course includes a study of different concepts of the surrounding environment, the emergence of environmental psychology, its development, the contributions of scientists in it, and methods of scientific research in examining its phenomena. It explores the various environments surrounding an individual such as: the work, learning, and residential environments. Moreover, it discusses the reflection of social and psychological problems of the individual on his relation to the surrounding environments. It investigates the proposed psychological and social treatments used to heal the negative psychological effects that are reflected on the individual as a result of direct contact with such environments.
