Course Description:
This course aims at introducing the students to the sources of information, policies and sources of supply and selection tools in building and supplying collections. The students study the development policy and types of information sources and their relative importance and foundations selected, and the sources and methods of Cooperative acquisition and evaluation, and maintain the effectiveness of purification and exclusion. As well as clarifying the importance of the work of a written policy for the construction and development process, collections, and how to set them up.
