Course Description:
This course aims at introducing the students to the concept of Advanced Classification and its importance in the organization of information sources, and to clarify the basics of classification of various information sources in libraries. And this course deals with the study of the most important international classification systems, such as the Library of Congress Classification, Universal Decimal Classification, classification Cutter (expansionist rating) With the detailed study of the Library of Congress Classification, and practical training of students for rating and classified according to the Library of Congress. The course also uses the computer in the process of classification and evolution.
