Course Description:
The course aims at introducing the - Egypt conditions such as the Islamic conquest. - The Islamic conquest of Egypt (stages and difficulties) - The establishment of the Mosque of Amr ibn al-Aas, and the establishment of Fustat. - Egypt in the era of governors. - Egypt during the reign of Tulunids - Egypt during the reign of Akhshids - Fatimid conquest of Egypt with the Ayyubids and Mamluks.
