Course Description:
Course Aims: The course aims at illuminating the history of the Abbaside country starting from its establishment (132 A.H – 750 A.D) till the mongolian occupation of Baghdad (656 A.H – 1258 A.D). The course also aims at identifying the prominent parts in the East and West of the Islamic Countries. In addition, the course pinpoints the foreign relations between the Abbasids and their great neighbours, and also the ambassadors between the Abbaside Caliphs and the other kings and lords of the world.
