Publications of Faculty of Medicine:SUCTION DIATHERMY ADENOIDECTOMY VERSUS ADENOIDECTOMY BY CURETTAGE: Abstract

This study included 184 inpatient in E.N.T. Department of Benha University Hospital. Adenoidectomy by curettage under general anesthesia had been performed for 96 patients and suction diathermy adenoidectomy under general anesthesia had been performed for 88 patients. In this study, we compare the use of suction diathermy adenoidectomy versus adenoidectomy by curettage as regards to time, amount of blood loss, primary and secondary hemorrhage.
