Background: The number of pregnant women with heart disease is expected to grow because of recent progress in pediatric cardiology and heart surgery that made it possible for girls with congenital heart disease to survive to adulthood, and increased incidence of coronary artery disease in pre-menopausal women, also rheumatic heart disease that continues to be a serious problem in developing countries especially in the area of this study.
