We studied 60 cases of midi ine brain anomalies. Their clinical data and CT findings
were analysed and correlated with each other. These cases included 12 corpus
callosum agenesis, 6 callosal lipomas, 12 Dandy Walker malformation, 10 cephaloceles,
6 cases of holoprosencephaly, 6 suprasellar arachnoid cysts and 8 cases classified
as complex anomalies.
We concluded that in the presence of good pathological knowledge about different
midline brain anomalies, CI' is considered an easy non invasive modality in accurate
diagnosis of these malformations. |
