Publications of Faculty of Medicine:Laparoscopic Repair of Inguinal Hernia: Abstract

44 inguinal hernias in 40 patients were re paired through the laparoscope using a synthetic mesh in the preperitoneal space. Patients were classified into 4 groups according to the type of hernia. Laparoscopic repair proved to be effec tive in small groin hernia and recurrent cases. It carries less pain and decreased post operative morbidity.
