Laparoscopic approach versus open surgery |

Abstract: |
Laparoscoic ligation of the internal spermatic vein is compared to the traditional open technique in a group of 10 patients to evaluate the efficacy and safety of each procedure in treatment of male infertility. There was no significant difference between the two techniques as regards the post operative morbidity, recovery or improvement in fertility. Laparoscopic varicocelectomy could be adventageous in bilateral cases. |
