Hygiene (abstract 61), November 1994, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, and the annual meeting of the Egyptian Society of Tropical, Infectious
and Parasitic Diseases, January 1995, Cairo, Egypt. A letter titled "Sporadic acute hepatitis caused by HEV in Egyptian adults" contains a
portion of the following data and will be published as a Brief Report in Clinical Infectious Diseases.
