Publications of Faculty of Medicine:Lodoxamide Versus Sodium Cromoglycate in Vernal Kerato Conjunctivitis: Abstract

Aim: To evaluate the efficacy on clinical and cytological parameters as well as the safety of topical lodoxamide 0.1% versus 4% sodium cromoglycate. Method: 58 patients affected by mild to moderate vernal keratoconjunctivitis were allowed to enter the study. The clinical symptoms, signs, tear cytology counts of eosinophils were evaluated before and after treatment with either medication as well as adverse effects.
