Publications of Faculty of Medicine:Toxic Effects of Intravitreal 5-Fluorouracil and Mitomycin on the Rabbits Eye: Abstract

Purpose: To determine the ocular toxicity and the least toxis dose of a single intravitreal injection of either 5-Fluorouracil or Mitomycin in the vitrectomized and non-vitrectomized rabbits eyes. Methods: 0.1 ml of sterie saline solution containing variable doses of the drug was injected intravitreally through parsplana, specimens were examined by light microscopy.
