Aim:To evaluate the efficacy of trypan blue for enhancing visualization of the
capsulorehxis procedure during phacoemulsification of mature white cataracts.
Subjects and methods: 11 eyes of II patients with mature white cataract underwent trvpan
bloc assisted phacoemulsification with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation. The patients were
Mond at the first day, first week and first month postoperatively. Completion of
capsulorhexis, phacoemulsification with IOL implantation and postoperative best corrected
visual acuity were measured. |
