Abstract:

Aim of the study was to evaluate the role of probing in congenital nas- °lacrimal duct obstruction in children older than one year of age. Subjects and Methods: Forty patients (45 eyes) with congenital nosolacrimal duct obstruction aged 13 months or older underwent probing under general anesthesia. Success was defined as complete resolution of preoperative signs and symptoms until the end of the 4th month postoperatively.
