The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of topical latanoprost
and timolol molPate on ocular surface in patients with primary open
angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Patients and methods : A total of 28 eyes were chosen for this study.
14 eyes received timolol 0.5% twice daily for 3 months .The other 14 eyes
received latanoprost 0.005% once daily for 3 months.
Schirmer's test. tear film break up time (BUT) test and rose bengal
staining were all performed before starting treatment and at the end of
the follow up period |
