MR1 and CT scan hove proved to be of value in evaluation of head and neck carcinoma. WehrLi et at (19831. This study was carried out to evaluate the role of MRI and CT scan in the determination of the site and extent of laryngeal carcinomas. CT scan proved to be superior in visualization of the lesion in axial plane, while MIR1 was superior in corona/ and sagittal planes. Each method was evaluated and discussed. These tools could guide the surgeon to hidden areas of laryngeal carcinomas.
