Course Description:
The course aims at introducing the Studying and understand the botanical structure of forage and pasture leguminous and cereal plants. Know the impact of the prevailing environmental factor on growth behavior, yield and quality of forage & pasture crop plants. Forage production & grazing systems management will be understood. Establishment and renovation of natural and irrigated pastures will be studied. Pasture/animal relations will be studied in all of its aspects. Quantitative and qualitative measurements and procedures of the produced forage materials will be studied. Surplus forage and pasture production processed in form of hay, haylage and silage will be of great concern in this Study. Research basics and statistical analysis in forage and grazing as well as the priority of research future plans will be included in this study.
