Course Description:
The course aims at identifying the most important global systems of classification, such as classifying the Library of Congress, and Decimal Classification global classification Cutter (Category expansionist) and classification substantive Brown, Bibliographic classification for Bliss and others, as well as the detailed study for the classification of the Library of Congress, and to train students in practice for rating according to the classification Library of Congress. As the course also aims to teach students how to use the computer in the classification process and the evolution of this use.
