Project Objectives :-
The aim of the present study is
*The first phase:-
1- To select at least three agricultural residues from the important and valuable processing wastes.
2- To analyze the physical and chemical properties of the guava, olive and potato extracts.
3-To study the antimicrobial and antifungal properties of extracted residues.
4-Identify and fractionate the total phenolic compounds using the HPLC.
5-Identify and fractionate the fatty acids of available extracted oils.
6-Identify and fractionate the amino acids of available precipitated proteins.
7-To isolate and purify the available crude fibers.
*The second phase:-
1-The second phase of this study could be managed using the valuable extracts and nutrients which have antimicrobial, antioxidants activities and/or nutrition value to be used in some food modules in comparison with some used additives.
2-The second point to use the edible oil, protein and fibers as food supplements and/or food ingredients replaces.
*The third phase:-
1-The portions which colud not be used in one food systems should be applied in feed formulation.
2-The new food formulas could be evaluated using some short live animal such as chicken or duck.
3-To evaluate the individual body weight, body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion, mortality rate, carcass traits and blood parameters.
4-Both physical and chemical characteristics of bird's meat could be evaluated.
5-The whole experiments could be economically evaluated.
