تهتم الدراسة الحالية بفحص مستوى الاكتئاب ، لدي مرضى الفصام المزمن، والأسوياء ، مرتفعي ، ومنخفضي تقدير ، وتوكيد الذات ، كما تهتم بفحص مستوى القلق النفسي لدي مرضي الفصام المزمن ، والأسوياء مرتفعي . و منخفضي تقدير ، وتوكيد الذات . المنهج والإجراءات: أجريت الدراسة الراهنة علي عينة من 120 شخصاً ، منهم 60 مريضاً لفئة الفصام المزمن ، 60 من الأسوياء ، و تراوحت أعمار المرضى بين 28 – 42 سنة بمتوسط 34.63 سنة ، وانحراف معياري 5.88 سنة، أما عينة الأسوياء فقد تراوحت أعمارهم بين 25 – 41 سنة بمتوسط 33.46 سنة ، و انحراف معياري 5.78 سنة .
واستخدم الباحث الأدوات الآتية :
مقياس تقدير الذات (عبد الحميد ، 1984 ) ومقياس توكيد الذات (غريب ، 1995 ) ومقياس الاكتئاب (غريب ، 2000 ) ، ومقياس القلق النفسي (غريب ، 1995 ) .
النتائج :
باستخدام المتوسطات ، واختبار (ت) توصلت الدراسة إلي ارتفاع مستوي الاكتئاب ، و القلق النفسي لدى مرضى الفصام المزمن ، و الأسوياء المنخفضين لتقدير ،وتوكيد الذات ، وأيضا انخفاض مستوى الاكتئاب ، والقلق النفسي لدي مرضى الفصام المزمن , والأسوياء المرتفعين لتقدير ، وتوكيد الذات .

Faculty of Arts ,Assiut university Objective s of the study :the present study is concerned with examining the level of depression in patients with chronic schizophrenia and normal persons with low and high self –esteem and self –assertion .It also aims at investigating With examining the Lovel of anxiety in patients with chronic schizophrenia and normal persons with low and high self –esteem and self –assertion. Method and procedure :the present study was conducted on a sample of 120 subjects with chronic schizophrenia and 60 normal subject s .the patients ages ranged between 20 and 42 years (m =34.63,SD=5.88).The normal subjects ages ranged between 25 and 41 years (m =33.46,SD=5.78).
The researcher used the following tools :
The self –Esteem Scale (Abdelhamid,1984).-
The Self –Assertion Scale (Gharib,1995).-
The Depression Scale (Gharib,2000).-
The Anxiety Scale (Gharib,1995).-
Results :
using the means ,t-test,the study indicated that the level of depression and anxiety was high in patients with chronic schizophrenia and normal subjects with low self – esteem and self - assertion .Results also indicated that the level of depression and anxiety was low in patients with chronic schizophrenia and normal subjects with high self – esteem and self – assertion .
