Abstract:

Abstract The present study aims at developing some spatial skills through art-based activity programme for kindergarten children. The two researchers administered the experimental method to a population of 60 kindergarten children. The researchers had prepared an art-based activity programme designed to develop some spatial skills as well as a spatial skills rating. The results point out that there are statistically significant differences between the means of control group's marks and those of the experimental group in the post application of the spatial skills test(after the application of the art-based activity programme) in favour of the experimental group. This maintains the effectiveness of the proposed programme and its role in developing spatial skills of kindergarten children.
