Abstract:

The Corona epidemic had an impact on all aspects of life, including manufacturing and transportation. It was the reason for the closure of many cities, the halt of industrialization, and the exacerbation of transport workers' crises in other cities. However, it had a positive role in accelerating the transition towards sustainability in order to face emerging crises. Because logistics is very crucial in achieving sustainable manufacturing, any disruption to transportation can have a significant impact on the sustainability of cloud manufacturing. To address this challenge, we considered the possibility of using multiple types of transportation instead of one as usual. We integrated a greedy strategy into GA and PSO to be more flexible with this type of problem and to optimize multiple objectives. The results showed that the use of multiple types of transportation contributed significantly to reducing manufacturing time and transportation costs, which in turn helps in enhancing the sustainability of cloud manufacturing.
