As regards to the normal breeding cows and buffaloes, a non significant and negative correlation (r = 0.162) was noticed between the genital and urinary system affections. The predominant micro-organisms isolated from both genital and urinary systems of normal cycling cows and buffaloes were discussed in details. E. coli, Staph. aureus, Str. fecalis, C. pyogenes, C. renale, Staph. epidermidis, C. bovis and Klebsiella species were the most prevalent isolates form cattle with mucopurulent / purulent endometritis in order of their frequencies from both genital and urinary systems" Highly significant and positive correlation (r = 4.7371 was found between the genital and urinary affections of diseased cattle. The most common bacterial isolates from cows and buffaloes suffered from pyometra and its incidence were described in details. In these animals, highly significant and positive
correlation (r = 0.976) between the genital and urinary systems were registered. Gentamicin was the highly effective medicament in vitro. Cows and buffaloes suffering from mucopurulent and purulent endometritis were divided into 3 groups and treated by gentamicin by different routes and the conception rate was studied.
