Title ANALYSIS OF TELEMATICS SYSTEMS IN AGRICULTURE
Type PhD
Supervisors P Šařec
Year 2013
Abstract The improving of the agricultural machinery efficiency is the simplest way to optimize the costs of the agricultural operations and maximize the profitability. In the other case the good management may reduce the environmental impact. The employment of the up-to date technologies achieves those goals by collecting the information and by using it for improving the machines productivity. Precision agriculture facilitates the ways to improving the productivity, reducing the demands of the chemicals and fertilizers and reducing the breakdown risks, monitoring and mapping systems is a part of precision agriculture which can be used to predict the farm demands to the chemicals and fertilizers. The using of machine performance data is one of the most important steps to the good management of the machine it cause to reduce the operating costs. Telematics system is the simplest way to collect data from the machines and distribute it to the places of the managers by using a combination of the sensors, positioning system, telecommunication technologies and a way of processing these data. Within this study, data has been collected from John Deere telematics system site and used it side by side with the data records from the farm which are collected manually by the farm manager. The study compared the performance and utilization data between four types of tillage tools

Title JUSTIFYING THE DESIGNING METHODOLOGY OF THE EARTH WORKING PRODUCTIVITY DURING CONSTRUCTION OF THE FOREST ROADS
Type PhD
Supervisors N A Turin
Year 2020
Abstract The management process of the agriculture and forest zones are carried out over vast territories, especially in the agricultural reclamation and areas or even in the planed agricultural land for rehabilitation. To carry out the problem of delivery the agricultural and forest yield and production required materials and equipment, it is necessary to planning for construction of more roads to achieve the goal of delivering the materials, equipment and yield on the time with the low cost and high quality. As a basic knowledge: the main material of the roadbed in such places (agriculture and forest) is the local soil, however the soil in some spots doesn’t show the quality of the using it to fill the filling stations. The main issue during road construction in forest and agriculture zones is the optimization of the soil moving process from the embankment spots to the filling spots. The earth moving optimization during the construction of the roads is a dual problem which contains; - optimization of the distribution of the soil along the constructed road (Designing the soil distribution) according to the following criteria: minimizing the moving distance and reduction of the using external materials – and the determining the sufficient amount of the technological machines according to their kinds, with the criteria of the available amount in the construction organization with the ability of renting specific technology.
