This research examines the impact of changing the different insulation materials mentioned in the Egyptian code for thermal insulation (which differ in their physical and thermal characteristics) at the level of thermal comfort and consumption of electrical energy in general and used for cooling in particular within residential spaces. At the beginning of the research was defined thermal comfort and its concepts and measuring tools and factors affecting it and how to represent it by statement, then moved to study the study area (Cairo Governorate), study the climatic elements of it and the environmental factors of the site, then study the residential model in question and the characteristics and components of the elements of the thermal building with the selection of the model of residence egypt as a reference study model, and the thermal performance of all components of the building except the vacuum reception to show the difference in energy consumption and the number of hours of rest and discomfort Thermal when changing thermal insulation materials and their thickness. Then apply all the above elements to the environmental simulation program Design Builder by entering weather file climate data for the specific study site, then entering the residential model data and building the model 3D model with the same characteristics ... |
