Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between physical self-concept and its relationship wary of swimming and identify their relationship to performance skills pool.
Descriptive approach was used and study sample included 129 students from the band's initial Faculty of Physical Education for Boys Banha University in the academic year 2012 - 2013.
After data collection and statistical treatments and findings researcher could be reached the following conclusions
- The study showed that there is a strong positive relationship between physical self-esteem and level of performance skills in the pool for students of the Faculty of Physical Education initial band.
- The results of the study showed that there is a strong inverse relationship between anxiety of swimming and the level of performance skills in swimming for students of the Faculty of Physical Education initial band.
- The results of the study showed that there is a strong inverse relationship between physical self-concept and anxiety of swimming for students of the Faculty of Physical Education initial band.
- Results of the study showed that unpredictable variable of variables in terms of the other variable.
The main recommendations were as follows:
- The application of this study on Mptdi swimming in clubs and youth centers.
- Promote a culture of swimming in the regions.
- Raise awareness among workers in the field of swimming education need to focus on the psychological aspects of the learners before starting teaching swimming.
- I have to those who teach swimming the determination of the physical capabilities of the learner and investment friendly potential.
