The research aims to identify the effectiveness of communication between volleyball coaches and their teams and its effect on the results of the matches. The researcher used the descriptive approach as one of the branches of the analytical method –to describe what is an object in the field of the sport.
The study was conducted on a sample of (8) coaches and eight teams that oversee on its using of the intentional way, the results of this study have shown that the most important effective communication skills to volleyball coaches is to understand the message by the player and expressed by trying to coach that makes his instructions to the player in the form of can understand, followed by always letters abbreviation, try to coach to send messages always clear, and tried to listen carefully to the players and understand their messages, as it seeks to be his messages to the intended player directly, as well as encouraging players to exchange information with him, while the results of the study showing that Volleyball coaches at low degrees in the abundance of the message and the use of coach movements of his body to send his instructions, as explained by the results of players sample evaluate them for the communication skills to their coaches provide the following communication skills, the coach ability to direct messages to the intended player directly, followed by coach attention to listen good to his players and work to understand their messages, then use the coach for the movements of his body to send his letters, and that these physical signals always means the same thing you mean by his words, and then try to coach to make his instructions to the player in the way can understand, and poor the following communication skills, the abundance of information in the coach letters, and that all the players understand his words and guidance , in addition to the use of the coach to two-way communicate and its ability to shorten his letters always, results also showed that there is a positive correlation between the level of communication skills effectiveness and the results of volleyball teams matches, indicating that the higher the level of communication skills effectiveness between the coach and his players more results, also research results showed that there is significant differences between the assessment of coaches and players to the communication skills for coaches for the evaluation of coaches in the following statements (6,11,14), which suggests to try to coach to make his instructions to the player in an way can be understood and encouraged the players to exchange information with him in addition to that his messages are always brief and, finally, research shows that there is a positive relationship is not statistically significant between the coaches assessment degrees and the observation degrees used in the research.
