The readymade garment industry plays a major role in the global economy, and the development of this industry has been linked to modern technology that appears in our daily life. Many studies have dealt with the uses of ultrasound in many fields, including the clothing industry because of its future importance in reducing consumption and reducing waste of materials (threads) during the sewing process, and this research aims to take advantage of ultrasound sewing as an alternative to traditional sewing . In sewing leather clothing materials, ultrasound sewing has been applied using (Bonding tape) on two types of synthetic leather (synthetic leather with a proportion of Lycra / Synthetic leather without Lycra) and laboratory tests were carried out to measure (sewing Tensile Strength/ Weaving Elongation/ Weaving Hardness/ Water Permeability)/ Air permeability) from sewing, and comparing it to traditional knitting (flat SSA-1- overlapping LSC) on leather for artificial, and the study found that ultrasound sewing has a high tensile strength for sewing, in addition to that the piece of clothing is less permeable to air and water compared to sewing. Which allows the permeability to air and water greatly. The research paper also urges factories to turn to ultrasonic sewing technology and to develop these techniques in order to help provide auxiliary materials and reduce environmental waste that results from traditional sewing. |
