The research aims to identify the role of Egyptian and American coaches in planning for promoting judo sport, and differences in importance extent of planning between the role of Egyptian and American coaches. The researcher used descriptive method, where sample was chosen in random and purposive method of Egyptians and Americans coaches of judo sport. The researcher could reach that there were differences between Egyptians and American coaches in most of planning dimensions, except temporal programs dimension which was for American coaches. It means that American coaches pay great attention to planning dimensions(policies, procedures, targets, budget and facilities) . The most important recommendations were to pay attention to set policies and rules that govern the training process to all aspects, not to change dates of championships organized by the union of judo sport , and policies and procedures should be appropriate with the plans and set temporal programs
