Abstract: |
ABSTRACT The main objectives of this paper are to highlight the complex problem of managing underground water aquifers, the confined steady flow where the transmissivities at nodes inside the zone are represented by the same fuzzy numbers. The different types of algorithms to solve the underground water in three dimensions under fuzziness are considered. Two recent natural inspired algorithms are proposed to optimize the sum of the water heads at each well, the total water pumping, the capital and installation cost. Theses algorithms are namely, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Firefly Algorithm (FA). A comparative study is applied to optimizing the underground water confined steady flow.
