Abstract:

The status of the Egyptian policeman and his image presented in the school theatre drama applied to selected models AMINA MOHSEN HASSAN ELAKSHAR lecturer – Department Of Media Faculty of Specific Education - Banha University • The problem of the study: The problem of the study could be determined in the following main question : • What is the status of the Egyptian Policeman and his image presented in the school theatre drama? • The Aims of the study: The study aims to identify : • Picture of the Egyptian Policeman in the texts of the school theatre sample study. • Issues and topics of the policeman which were included within the texts of the school theatre sample study. • The Kind of the Study: This study belongs to the descriptive types of studies. • The tools of the study: Content analysis tool. • The sample of the study: The sample of the analytical study includes examples of the texts of the school theatre, which were presented in the governorates of Cairo and Qalyubia within the final festival of the competition of theatrical arts during the period of time specified for the study. The number of the plays were four of the educational departments participating in the Festival of dramatic arts and are closer to achieve the objectives of the study. • The Study Methodology: Descriptive Analytical Method. • The study results : one of the results showed that: • The four school theatre texts did not ignore the study sample in presenting the current picture of the policeman in addition to posing positive values and behaviors, and presenting the positive model of the policeman, which the students seek to emulate, imitating in his behavior and actions, and acquiring his positive qualities and emphasizing the need to adhere to those positive traits, and the evasion of negative models and their behaviors.
