The inhibitive action of aqueous extract of Melia azedarach L leaves on corrosion of aluminium in 2M HCl solution was investigated through potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and weight loss measurement. The inhibition efficiency was found to increase with increasing concentration of the extract. The effect of temperature on the corrosion behavior of aluminum was studied. In addition, the thermodynamic parameters of the corrosion process were calculated.
